It\u2019s Possible With A Scrubba Bag! \u2013 EpicTactical"},"content":{"rendered":"<div propname=\"articleBody\">\n<p>By Fred \u201cGarfield\u201d Rowland \u2013 SOFREP<\/p>\n<p>Being in the Army while in the field can be difficult at times, with bad weather, inhospitable environments, no phone, no light\/power, and no motor car (as the song used to say), among many other things.\u00a0 At least your days are planned for you and with enough activities you can forget some things like laundry.\u00a0 At least until your laundry comes alive and takes a dislike to you.<\/p>\n<p>Enter the <a href=\"https:\/\/thescrubba.com\/collections\/all\/products\/scrubba-tactical-wash-bag\">Scrubba Bag,<\/a> a simple, easy-to-use portable clothes-washing system you can take anywhere.<\/p>\n<p>I sent some Scrubba Bags to my Grandson Iahn recently and when his group went to the Italian Alps for training they took the Scrubba Bags with them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>First though, what is a Scrubba Bag?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a personal, portable clothes washer that goes where you go, and enables you to wash certain items where and when you want when on vacation, in the field or even on the sidelines at a sporting event.\u00a0 Best of all, it fits easily into a backpack, duffel bag or Ruck.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/epictactical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-6.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_122579\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-122579\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-122579\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Yes, It Fits In Your Hand!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>When laid flat the <a href=\"https:\/\/thescrubba.com\/collections\/all\/products\/scrubba-tactical-wash-bag\">Scrubba Bag<\/a> is 21.3\u2033 x 12.6\u2033, when rolled up for storage it\u2019s 6.3\u2033 x 2.4 x 2.4\u2033 and weighs only 5.3oz.\u00a0 Guy McCardle and I recommend dry soap sheets both to conserve weight, ease of use and packing, which is what I sent along with the bags for Iahn and his Group.\u00a0 Liquid soaps are also compatible with Scrubba Bags and work just as well so if that\u2019s your preference, no worries.<\/p>\n<p>Scrubba Bags were designed in consultation with a former Australian SAS team leader, so you can be sure they are multipurpose, will hold up under pressure and will deliver the results you want.\u00a0 According to Iahn, the Soldiers in his Group and the Italian Soldiers they were training with, their Scrubba Bags delivered BIG TIME!\u00a0 Their trip was pretty high up and didn\u2019t include many amenities so having the Scrubba Bags was a good thing for all of them.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/epictactical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-7.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14977\" src=\"https:\/\/epictactical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"492\" srcset=\"https:\/\/epictactical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-7.png 1024w, https:\/\/epictactical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-7-300x144.png 300w, https:\/\/epictactical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-7-768x369.png 768w, https:\/\/epictactical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-7-780x375.png 780w, https:\/\/epictactical.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/image-7-600x288.png 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_122582\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-122582\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-122582\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Morning Rush Hour On The Left, NOT A Hotel, (or anything close) On The Right<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>How does it perform?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The bags are made to hold up to 2 T-shirts, 2 pair of socks and 2 pair of underwear, per load, essentially the basics to keep you going.\u00a0 \u00a0Fill with your laundry, water and soap, seal the bag, deflate some air and start rubbing the clothes across the washboard inside the bag.\u00a0 Rinse, hang to dry and repeat for the next load, unless you need to catch a little sleep before standing guard of course.\u00a0 The results were great, according to Iahn the bags hit all the required marks:<\/p>\n<p>Easy to use, CHECK! The directions are printed in multiple places.<br \/>Easy to wash clothes, CHECK! If you can make a scrubbing\/rubbing motion for up to 3 minutes, you\u2019re good.<br \/>Gets clothes clean, CHECK! Amazing how clean T-shirts and socks came out.<\/p>\n<p>Yes, they did have some complaints.\u00a0 I\u2019m not sure these had anything to do with the Scrubba Bags but here they are:<\/p>\n<p>The thin cold air and minimal sunlight didn\u2019t dry clothes well. Whoops, talk to your travel agent.<br \/>Clothes were clean and smelled clean but maybe next time, send some Lavender scented soap?
