What the Scrubba Tactical Is (and Isn\u2019t)<\/span><\/h2>\n

Scrubba\u2019s Tactical Wash Bag<\/a> is a <\/span>pocket-sized<\/span>, field-friendly way to wash a small load of clothes without power. <\/span>It weighs <\/span>about<\/span> 5.6 oz (\u2248160 g), packs down to the size of a soda can<\/span>, and <\/span>uses<\/span> a patented \u201cwashboard in a bag<\/span>\u201d <\/span>to strip sweat and grime from clothes <\/span>fast<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inside the bag is a flexible TPU washboard <\/span>with 300+<\/span> raised nodules. <\/span>Add water and a little soap, seal, squeeze out air <\/span>via<\/span> the valve, then knead for a few minutes.<\/span> The nubs do the work, <\/span>giving you<\/span> machine-like agitation without <\/span>lugging<\/span> a generator.<\/span> The bag\u2019s 40D nylon with TPU coating and welded seams <\/span>keep<\/span> it <\/span>tough<\/span> and watertight. <\/span><\/p>\n

Optimal<\/span> load size is two T-shirts, two pairs of socks, and two pairs of underwear.<\/span> That\u2019s a solid 48- to 72-hour<\/span>\u00a0rotation when you\u2019re cycling kit. Push more in, <\/span>and<\/span> your wash suffers. <\/span><\/p>\n

Water use is modest. The total volume is approximately<\/span>\u00a013 liters (~3 gallons), but you\u2019ll actually wash at around 3\u20134 liters (~1 gallon) per cycle.<\/span> In arid terrain, that matters. Adjust water usage according to your environment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Scrubba<\/a> markets the bag directly to military and first-responder units, claiming adoption by outfits including SEAL Team Six (DEVGRU), USAF Ravens, BORSTAR, the 73rd Cavalry Regiment, the 43rd Intelligence Squadron, and the FBI Rapid Response Team. Manufacturer claims are <\/span>precisely<\/span> that\u2014claims\u2014but they track with what the product <\/span>is built<\/span> to do: keep small teams clean where laundry trailers and base services don\u2019t reach. <\/span><\/p>\n
